Apply for student travel product
The student travel product is part of student finance. It enables you to travel by Dutch public transport for free or at a reduced rate. You can choose a weekday product or a weekend product. It is possible to switch subscriptions later on.
Your student travel product is actually a loan (in 2021, it's €99.58 a month). It only turns into a gift if you graduate within 10 years. That's why you can also choose not to pick it up from a collection point.
