If you own the student travel product, you can subscribe to the newsletter. The newsletter is an initiative of the transportation companies. Regisseur Studenten Reisrecht (RSR) creates and manages the newsletter on behalf of the transport companies. For recognition purposes, nieuwsbrief@studentenreisproduct.nl is used as the sender of the newsletter.
Use data
The email address you register with will only be used for sending the newsletter and confirmation of subscription and unsubscription. The privacy policy of Regisseur Studenten Reisrecht applies and your e-mail address will not be provided to third parties. Your e-mail address will not be used for other service provision via Studentenreisproduct.nl or commercial purposes. Your e-mail address will, however, be used for an ex-student offer by carriers after your student travel product has been discontinued. You are responsible for notifying us of any changes to your e-mail address.
Automatic data cleanup
If you no longer have the student travel product, your data will be removed from the newsletter's address list six months after the student travel product is discontinued. This also applies if you register for the newsletter, but have not put your student travel product on your OV-chipkaart within six months. You will not be informed about this. If the transport companies decide to terminate the newsletter, you will be informed by an e-mail to the e-mail address known to Regisseur Studenten Reisrecht (RSR) and your e-mail address will be removed.
Ex-student offerings by transportation companies
If you receive the newsletter and discontinue your student travel product, you will receive a personal offer from the transportation companies for one or more travel products at a reduced price after discontinuation. This offer is valid for a maximum of three months after cancellation. This so-called ex-student offer is also provided by Regisseur Studenten Reisrecht (RSR) and is carried out for as long as the transport companies wish. The transport companies are free to discontinue the offer at any time, with previously concluded season tickets remaining in effect.
