Link (link) your student travel product to an OV-chipkaart
Step 4 is linking (linking) your student travel product to a personal OV-chipkaart. To make this step a success we'll ask you a set of questions. If you can answer these questions with yes then you are ready to link your card.
1. Did you get a message from DUO saying your student travel product request was approved?
- Yes, I got an email saying my student travel product request was approved
- No, I haven't received any message.
2. Do you own a personal ov-chipkaart with your own personal details?
- Yes, I own a personal OV-chipkaart with my own details.
- No, I don't own a personal OV-chipkaart.
3. Did you receive an e-mail from studentenreisproduct.nl stating you need to link (link) your OV-chipkaart?
- Yes, I have received an e-mail from studentenreisproduct.nl stating that I should link (link) my OV-chipkaart.
- No, I haven't received an email from studentenreisproduct.nl
Other products on the card?
We really don't recommend combining other products with ours. If you do combine the student travel product with other travel products, you won't be able to get any refunds.
Let's start with linking!
Linking is only possible in Mijn Omgeving. Mijn Omgeving is secured by DigiD, so only you can get to your personal info.
You can always go straight to Mijn Omgeving by clicking the icon at the top right of the screen. We've also added an extra button at the bottom of this page to help you out.
After you have logged into our My environment you can press the button "link" to add your OV-chipkaart. You can only have one card linked to your student travel product. Did you purchase a new card? Then you can also link your new card by pressing koppelen.
