Step 2: OV-chipkaart

Apply for a personal OV-chipkaart

The student travel product is linked to a personal OV-chipkaart. You can easily arrange an OV-chipkaart with a photo and your details via the OV-chipkaart website or at a transport company.

Please note: the data you enter when applying for your OV-chipkaart must match the data known to DUO. During the next step, we must be able to verify that the requested OV-chipkaart is yours.

You are responsible for purchasing your own OV-chipkaart. These costs cannot be claimed.
