Validity of student travel product
When do you travel for free, with a discount, or at the full fare?
OV-chipkaart replacement
It always happens when you least expect it. Just before checking in, you discover that your OV-chipkaart is expired, lost, stolen, or defective/broken. Fortunately, you can arrange everything quickly online.
Changing your subscription
When you apply for the student travel product from DUO, you choose a week or weekend subscription. Would you prefer to switch subscriptions later?
Canceling student travel product
Are you no longer entitled to the student travel product? Then you must cancel it yourself and on time. You can read how to do that here.
Submitting a claim
Have you incurred travel expenses because you were unable to use the student travel product (on time) through no fault of your own, and is the end date of the period you are claiming for less than 4 weeks ago? Then you can submit a claim request.
Temporary Student travel product
Have you lost your OV-chipkaart or is it expired, stolen, or defective, preventing you from traveling? Then apply for the Temporary student travel product. This will allow you to continue your journey within an hour on average.
